A passionate singer with a "world class" voice (Daily Post), Julia was a 2007/08 PricewaterhouseCoopers Dame Malvina Major Emerging Artist and recent winner of the NZ Aria Competition. A "stunning soprano" (Next Magazine) whose youthful vibrance is matched by a presence and a maturity beyond her years, this Kiwi-Canadian has fast become a "striking centrepiece" (www.waikato.ac.nz) among the next generation of New Zealand's opera elite.
